Cosmo Salon Studios provides studio space for cosmetologists to launch their own brands. The concept was brought to life by owners Ricky Manjo and Clark Pattah, together with Creative Manager, Bianca Bering and Tenant Experince Manager, Rachel Normandin. “As a company, our goal is to give professionals in the cosmetology world the advantages of building their own brand, being their own boss, and enjoying an ideal work-life balance,” Bianca says. The studio spaces give professionals the ability to keep 100% of their profits, personalize their space, set their own pricing and give their clients private, one-on-one attention.
Cosmo Salon Studios’ first location opened in Troy in 2017, and a total of eight locations will be open by the end of 2021. “Cosmo Canton was our third opening,” Bianca adds. “We love the vibe of the Canton area — it has its own entrepreneurial epicenter with so much economic diversity. We felt like it would be the perfect place to continue to grow and help our stylists grow — and it has already proven to be successful, thanks to the amazing group of talented cosmetologists that use the space.” At the southwest corner of Ford Road and Lilley, near Hobby Lobby, the convenient and busy location makes entrepreneurial beauty professionals easily accessible to their clientele. “We love all things creative, and being able to combine the creativity of design, beauty and wellness into a role has really been a dream career path for us,” Bianca concludes.
