Canton's Ford Road has an established wayfinding system with color-coded street light banners for each block along the three mile stretch of the Downtown Development Authority district. Businesses listed in the directory are color-coded to help you find them on the map.

• The Yellow Block includes the area on Ford Road just west of Canton Center Road
• The Purple Block includes the area on Ford Road between Canton Center Road and Sheldon Road
• The Green Block includes the area on Ford Road between Sheldon Road and Morton Taylor Road
• The Red Block includes the area on Ford Road between Morton Taylor Road and Lilley Road
• The Blue Block includes the area on Ford Road between Lilley Road and Haggerty Road
• The Brown Block includes the area on Ford Road between Haggerty Road and Lotz Road
• The Orange Block includes the area on Ford Road east of Lotz Road
