National Trails and River Day

GENEROUSLY SPONSORED BY COMMUNITY FINANCIAL! – American Hiking Society’s National Trails Day® (NTD) is a celebration of America’s magnificent Trail System, occurring annually on the first Saturday in June.

Scheduled events along the Lower Rouge Trail include: self-guided hiking along the beautiful Rouge River, educational displays and presentations by the ‘Friends of the Rouge’, ‘Leave No Trace’ principles and recycling info, a ‘make-it-yourself’ trail mix station.

This is a FREE, family and pet friendly event to raise awareness of the Lower Rouge Trail System.
